Availability Update (Dec 11): A few days ago, ZWO announced that they are discontinuing this item. Like many of you, we were aghast at this decision as well!
However, we managed to convince ZWO to make another production run and offer this item for some more time so that customers who have the Gen 1 filter drawers have another chance to stock up on additional filter holders. At this time, ZWO is indicating that they will be able to ship more holders to us in mid-February. We will only begin accepting back orders again once ZWO actually ships these to us.
We will continue to update this page when we have more details. We will be unable to give you any more info if you email us for this. Customers interested in purchasing this item later should sign up for a back in stock notification email from the link above on this page.
Please Note: This filter drawer can ONLY be used with ZWO's Gen 1 FD-M54 filter drawer. It cannot be used with their Gen 2 FD-M54-II filter drawer that was released in early December 2022.
If you purchased your ZWO filter drawer from us by November 2022, then you have a Gen 1 drawer and can use this item. Purchases after mid-December from us would have been for the Gen 2 drawer that this holder is NOT compatible with.
We are trying to get ZWO to offer this item again for a few more months if possible. Any further updates will be posted here if and when available.
ZWO's M54 filter drawer inlcudes one 2" filter holder. However, you can now (finally!) purchase additional filter holders without having to buy the entire filter drawer all over again just for the holder.
You can now purchase as many filter holders as you need and slide in the appropriate filter into the drawer as you like.
The filter shown in the photo above is illustrative and is not included. The filter holder has standard M48x0.75 threads for 2" mounted astronomy filters.
Please note that this item is only for use with ZWO's M54 filter drawer. It will not work with their M42 or FD-EOS filter drawers.
The M54 filter drawer is sold separately.
