When the gain value is set to 100, the magical HCG high gain mode is turned on. This allows you to photograph at a higher gain setting with a dramatically lower read noise, and the dynamic range is unchanged at ~13.5 stops.

ZWO ASI6200MM Pro TEC Cooling System and Power Supply

ZWO ASI6200MM Pro Back-Focus Setup
The ZWO ASI6200MM Pro requires 55mm of back-focus for sharp starts. It contributes a back-focus of 17.5mm from the flat surface above the threads to the sensor and image plane. You can reduce this to 12.5mm by removing the included M54 tilt adapter for certain configurations.
Since the ZWO ASI6200MM Pro is a full-frame monochrome astronomy camera, it is best to use the ZWO 7-position 2" filter wheel and the ZWO Off-Axis Guider - Large (both sold separately) as they are a perfect match for this camera. You can find additional back-focus diagrams on ZWO's website.
To connect a camera lens to the ZWO ASI6200, you will need to use a T2 adapter compatible with your lens mount (e.g., Canon EF or Nikon F).
