The tube holder has a 1/4-20 thread at the bottom so that the user can attach the telescope to a standard photographic tripod if they wish. This product, the Takahashi Tube Holder for FS-78/Sky 90 is designed expressly for supporting the Tak FS-78/Sky 90 scope models. It is also compatible with the Takahashi FC100-D series telescopes.
