The Takahashi FC-76DP is an update to the FC-76 telescope series to allow for the use of the new FU series dedicated reducers.
The DP is a variation of the fluorite lens-equipped FC-76DCU. There is no change in the objective lens design, but when the FU Reducer is attached, it becomes a high-performance astro camera with a focal length of 365mm @ f/4.8 that is highly corrected for chromatic aberration and curvature aberrations. The body of the telescope is also detachable like the FC-76DCU so it can be easily carried around for travel. In addition, by attaching the newly released M55.9 Extension Tube L30, it is also compatible with the FC/FS Multi-Flattener 1.04x.
When viewing with the naked eye, infinity focus cannot be achieved. Please use the separately sold 50.8mm Extension Tube or the 50.8mm (2") 90° Star Diagonal or 31.7mm (1.25") MC Prism diagonal.
