The Radian Telescopes 6.5" Universal D-Style Lightweight Dovetail Plate was completely redesigned to fit with any tube ring system. Unlike other brands, this dovetail bar uses mirrored angle slots to accommodate the width of the bolt pattern found on the most common tube rings. For the extra wide bolt patterns found on Astrophysics, TEC and Parallax rings. The plate is also thicker than most mass-produced dovetail bars. It is machined from solid aluminum stock to have a 14.4 mm shoulder which will prevent any mechanical flexure.
Balancing your telescope on your mount can be a time consuming process. The Radian Telescopes 6.5" plate makes this easier with its incremental 1/2" markings on each side.
