This series consists of two focal lengths, the 12.5mm NAV-12.5HW (sold separately) and the 17mm NAV-17HW (this item). Each eyepiece also includes, at no charge, the unique benefit of an "EiC" tele-extender lens, specifically designed for each eyepiece. The included EiC shortens the focal lengthof the NAV-17HW to 14mm. This means that you are actually getting two eyepieces for the price of one!
The NAV-17HW is a dedicated 2" barrel eyepiece. All surfaces are multi-coated with world class Nikon coatings and the mechanical and cosmetic finish is, well, perfect, as you would expect with any Nikon product. You will find your Nikon HW to be a superb addition to your eyepiece case and your pride and joy as you train it on the night skies.
