Double stacking provides a truly enhanced, high definition view of the Sun’s surface details. Notably, it lowers the bandpass of the system from <0.7 Angstrom to <0.5 Angstrom, which really makes the surface “pop”!
The Lunt LS80MT and LS100MT can be internally double-stacked at the time of purchase or anytime thereafter. Furthermore, neither telescope module will need to be returned to the factory for double-stacking.
You can purchase the LS80MT or the LS100MT single stack modular telescope initially and add the SFPT to make it a double stack unit later. This will make it more affordable to purchase our a new modular telescope and still have room for upgrades. Once you upgrade your Lunt Modular Telescope with the double stack unit, you will be able to see the finer details not previously visible.
