Long Perng 1.25" 90-deg pentaprism diagonal for use with Long Perng 1.25" Erect Image Divergent Binoviewer # K1.25N-T.
Features:
- Ideal for use with Long Perng 1.25" Erect Image Divergent Binoviewer* to provide a "correct" image (upright and correct from left to right, i.e., a correct, non-inverted, non-reversed image); especially useful for terrestrial viewing.
- Uses a high quality, dielectric multicoated, BK-7 glass pentaprism to change the viewing angle by 90-deg.
- 1.25" eyepiece holder features a non-marring brass-compression ring.
- 1.25" nosepiece is threaded to accept standard 1.25" astronomy filters and features a safety groove.
Additional Information:
- When used by itself with a refractor or catadioptric telescope and eyepiece, this diagonal provides an image that is inverted (upside down) from top to bottom but correct (not reveresed) from left to right.
- Not for use with Newtonian/Dobsonian reflectors.
- If used with other binoviewers, it will present an image that is oriented differently (i.e., not a correct image) than when used with the Long Perng divergent binoviewer. That is becuase the Long Perng binoviewer incorporates an image-erecting lens assemly that other binoviewers do not have.
- 1.25" eyepiece holder and nosepiece cannot be unscrewed from the diagonal body.
