This adapter has 2" filter male thread (M48x0.75) on one side as well as a T / T2 female thread (M42x0.75) on the same side. It has a 2" filter female thread (M48x0.75) on the other side. It can be used as an M48 female to T / T2 thread female adapter, or to attach T / T2 threaded filters or accessories in an M48 optical path.
- Total thickness = 8.5mm (0.33")
- Length of female T thread = 4mm (0.16")
- Length of male M48 thread = 4mm (0.16")
- Length of female M48 thread = 4mm (0.16")
- Optical length = total length - male thread length = 8.5 - 4 = 4.5mm
- Maximum outside diameter = 50.7mm (2") so this adapter can slide into 2" focusers
