The Classic Q-Barlow has been optically matched to the new Baader Classic Eyepieces, and its 2.25x magnification gives a well spaced set of focal lengths. Its removable lens cell can also be unthreaded from the 1.25" barrel and directly threaded onto any 1.25" eyepiece with standard filter threads to give 1.3x, further filling in the choice of focal lengths. Alternatively, it can be directly threaded onto the 1.25" barrel of the Q-Turret (sold separately) to give 2.25x.

- Attach the barlow element directly to 1.25" prime focus photography adapters (sold separately) for barlowed imaging of the Moon and planets
- Not threaded to accept additional 1.25" filters
Important Note: The barlow lens cell in this item is very long (17mm) - see photos 3 and 4 above. In order to attach this lens cell to other 1.25" eyepieces/adapters, your eyepiece must have at least 12mm of inside clearance. Many shorter eyepieces with a safety recess groove on the barrel will not have so much clearance. In these cases, you will not be able to insert the Baader barlow lens cell deep enough to enable it to catch the filter threads on the eyepiece.
