- Hyperion Zoom Adapter for M43 female thread to SP54 male thread
- This adapter allows the connection of all standard camera lenses with filter thread to the Hyperion Zoom 8-24mm Mark III (discontinued) and the Baader Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV, 8-24mm eyepiece (1¼" / 2") to use the eyepiece in conjunction with the camera lens as a so-called "afocal projective system".
- The connection rings from this system are referred to as "Hyperion DT rings". All you need is the matching SP54 adapter for your filter thread.
- Not suitable for Morpheus 76 ° eyepieces or the first version of the Hyperion zoom eyepice.
Baader's Mark III/IV zoom eyepieces feature a 43mm thread under the eyeguard for attachment of various imaging adapters. This camera adapter from Baader can be attached to the male M43 thread on this eyepiece on one side. On the other side, this adapter has an M54 male thread and can be connected to Baader's various HDT rings. These HDT rings are available for a wide variety of camera thread sizes. So by using this adapter plus the appropriate HDT54/xx adapter for your camera, you can connect your camera to Baader's Mark III/IV zoom eyepieces.
To attach the Baader Mark III/IV zoom to a standard M42 T thread adapters, use the HTA43/T-2 adapter instead and not this adapter.
