The Astronomik MC-(multicoated) Clear filter serves dual purposes: as a dust protector or to maintain the optical depth of your imaging system.

The Astronomik MC-Clear glass is manufactured to the same high standards as other Astronomik filters, ensuring it is parfocal with other Astronomik filters. This means it can be used interchangeably with other filters without affecting the focus.
Additionally, it is multicoated to prevent unwanted reflections and does not block infrared (IR) or ultraviolet (UV) light.
