Askar has launched a new 52mm f/4 guide scope. Its robust construction will provide astrophotographers with a stable guiding solution for sharp high quality images.
Askar's 52mm f/4 guide scope is light, compact, and stable. With an aperture of 52mm and a focal length of 208mm, it weighs only 1.39lbs(631g). The design includes a doublet objective lens along with precise X&Y-axis fine adjustment capability.
The aperture area of the 52mm f/4 guide scope is 164% larger than that of the 32mm f/4 guide scope. With this increase of light gathering ability, the limiting magnitude can reach 10.4.
In addition to guiding, the 52mm f/4 guide scope can also be used for visual observation.
The helical focusing design has been incorporated for smooth precise movements. Users can directly turn the focuser manually to adjust. The focuser can be set with the M3 locking screw (M3 screw not provided). The guide scope comes with both a 1.25” adapter and M42 threaded adapter, satisfying users' requirements for connecting their imaging train.
TThe 52mm f/4 guide scope has a standard Vixen style base as well as both 1/4" and M4 threaded holes for easy attachment.
The scope's elegant design uses either a black or silver coating with a slightly textured feel.
Guide scope does not include a M3-0.5 focuser lock screw.
