This all-metal finder bracket will work with many (but not all) 50mm finder telescopes sold on the market today (GSO, Orion, Meade, Celestron, etc.). The finder features two nylon thumbscrews and a spring loaded screw for quick and precise finder alignment. Durable gunmetal gray finish. Bracket weighs 5.4oz (without dovetail base).
This bracket is very similar to the quick-release bracket sold by GSO except that the inside of this Antares bracket has been shimmed a little bit on one end to accommodate slightly smaller diameter finder tubes (such as Antares and Celestron). The inner diameter of the bracket is 54.0mm, so please measure your finder tube diameter to make sure that your finder will fit into this bracket before placing an order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some reviewers/customers have mentioned that this bracket has worked with their Stellarvue F50 finder (which is reported to have an outer diameter of 55mm). While Antares may have made some brackets with an inner diameter larger than what is mentioned above, please understand we cannot guarantee an inside diameter that is larger than Antares' specification, and we cannot be responsible if the bracket does not fit your specific finder.

This finder bracket includes a choice of one of several bases for your telescope (see the drop-down list above for available choices that are in stock). For details of each base, including dimensions and specifications, please see the links below:
- Universal Dovetail Mounting Base (Vixen/Orion/Synta/GSO Type) - Model FURB
- Dovetail Mounting Base for GSO Crayford Focuser with M4 Mounting Screw - Model CFURB
Due to its slightly larger foot size, the Antares bracket will NOT work with our SCT bases. To use the two together, you will have to file the base of the Antares finder bracket by about 0.5-1mm. This is why we do not offer the SCT base as an option for this bracket, but we will be happy to send that to you instead of the universal base if you tell us about this in advance of your order.
