Please Note: This is a brand new item from Antares. Unfortunately, the machining and finish on all of these new brackets is not perfect. There can be some rough/sharp edges, scuff/nick marks, and/or unanodized spots on these finder brackets. For examples, please see photos 3 and 4 above. That's just how this item is.
Please Note: The latest shipment of this product from Antares has screws that are much shorter than before. Please do not purchase this item without reviewing the item specifications below to ensure that this will work for you. If you want to replace these 6 screws with longer ones, you need #8-32 screws (see our item # IHS-AH-TS02-1)
This is a new Antares quick-release finder bracket with two rings for 50mm finders. While the rings are the same as Antares' popular F50DTB rings, this new item can use the more commonly used Synta/Vixen style dovetail base for attachment to your telescope as compared to the Antares-proprietary style on the F50DTB rings..
Each ring includes three-point screw adjustment for precisely aligning your finder. This bracket can be used with finder tubes 1.2" - 2.2" in diameter. All metal with black matte finish and nylon screws.
Please note that while the foot at the bottom of the bracket is made to accept Vixen/Synta-style finder bases, no base is included with this finder bracket. However, all the Vixen-style bases we sell separately (for example, #s FURB, CFURB, SCTFURB, XFURB) will work with this.
