Airy Disk's 8" triplet APO is a great telescope for observatories. It provides high-contrast imaging and guarantees genuine observing pleasure. With a relatively fast focal ratio of F7, it is 50" long (dew shield retracted) and suitable for smaller observatories. Multi-coated triplet lens with H-FK61 ED element and 4" focuser connects to scopeside to a M134x1. A M63x1 to 2" adapter is included.
The optional 0.8x FF also connects to this M63x1 thread, and M48x0.75 or M54x0.75 on the camera side with adjustable backfocus from 55mm up to 88mm.
For mounting, we recommend Astro Physics 1100/1600, EQ8 by Skywatcher, CGX by Celestron, or the GM2000 by 10Micron. The 4" 10:1 rack and pinion focuser is compatible with EAF 80-mm- tube extension. Two segments of the tube can be removed for a binoviewer and flexible back focus, M202x1.5
